Alistair's first introduction to art was aged six when he attended the local art group in Umtata, Transkei, (now renamed Mthatha, Kwazazulu Natal) South Africa where he was born. Having now become a professional artist Alistair works mainly in watercolour, although through increasing demand he is producing more work in oils.
